Japanese Classical Dance Instructor
西崎 愛翔
(Nishizaki Rokuha)
I have spent many years on stage as a master of Nihon Buyō, the classical Japanese dance of the Nishizaki school.
Now, I wish to share the beauty, grace, and spirit of this art form with people from around the world.
The inspiration for MAIHANA came from watching my friends from overseas truly enjoy wearing yukata and kimono.
Their joy and radiant smiles moved me deeply — and I thought:
“I want more people to feel this beauty and happiness that Japan has to offer.”
Asahikawa is known for attractions like the Asahiyama Zoo,
but opportunities to experience authentic Japanese culture here are still limited.
That is why I decided to offer something unique —
a cultural journey shaped by my years of training in dance and kimono dressing.
Through MAIHANA, I hope to create unforgettable moments where each guest feels not only elegant,
but also deeply connected to the heart of Japan.
Everyone who visits MAIHANA leaves with a smile, often saying,
“Japan is truly wonderful!”
Seeing their eyes light up fills my heart with happiness.
Here, we gently and clearly introduce the elegance and depth of Nihon Buyō — classical Japanese dance —
so that even first-time guests can feel comfortable and enjoy the experience.
Wearing a kimono and learning to move with grace is a rare and unforgettable journey —
one that will surely add something special to your time in Japan.
We support every guest with care and sincerity,
so please feel at ease.
Let’s discover the beauty of Japan together.

Hello, I’m ROE —
photographer and social media manager for MAIHANA.
My journey with photography began four years ago when I was expecting my second child.
I wanted to capture my family’s precious moments in beautiful photos and cinematic videos.
With a deep love for film, I taught myself photography, editing, and storytelling — and now I work as a digital creator, sharing meaningful moments through elegant, emotional visuals.
The idea for MAIHANA came from a heartfelt experience:
a friend from overseas wore a kimono, and I photographed her.
Her joy made me realize that capturing beauty — not just experiencing it — makes the memory even more powerful.
At MAIHANA, we offer an authentic Japanese cultural experience:
wearing exquisite kimono, learning traditional dance —
and being photographed like a scene from a movie.
All the visuals you see on our website and Instagram were taken and edited by me.
During your experience, if you wish, I’d be happy to photograph you as well —
and share your beautiful moments on our social media (of course, only with your permission).
A moment of cultural wonder — captured like a storybook image.
That’s what I aim to create with every photo.
And who knows — maybe your experience will inspire someone across the world to fall in love with Japan, just as you have.
Through MAIHANA, I hope to connect people across cultures, one beautiful memory at a time.
Let’s make something unforgettable together — and share this incredible tradition with the world.
