MATSU PLAN FAQ

Q1. Do I need to bring anything?

All kimonos, accessories, and tabi socks are provided, so you can come empty-handed.

Q2. What should I wear underneath?

Women are recommended to wear a camisole, and men a tank top or other thin tops with a wide neckline. For the bottom, please wear half pants or leggings. Please note that T-shirts may be visible under the kimono, so we do not recommend them.

Q3. Is there a place to change clothes?

There is a changing room inside the studio, so you can change comfortably.

Q4. Is hair and makeup provided?

For beautiful photos, our staff will do your hair and makeup. Cosmetics are provided at the studio, but you are welcome to bring your own makeup if you prefer.

Q5. How many photos will I receive?

You will receive a minimum of 40 beautifully retouched photos per group. The photos will be delivered via a Google Drive link to the representative’s email address within one week. Printing services are not provided.

Q6. Can I add a Japanese dance experience?

The MATSU Plan does not include a Japanese dance experience, but it can be added as an option for 5,000 JPY per group (30 minutes).

Q7. Can I take photos or videos during the Japanese dance experience?

Due to copyright restrictions on choreography and music, please refrain from taking photos or videos while the instructor (ROKUHA) is dancing. You are free to take photos of yourself in the kimono or during your own experience.

Q8. What sizes of kimono are available?

For women, S to L (Japanese sizes) are available.
For men, M to 5L (Japanese sizes) are available.
